I went to lunch with a neighbor today at the Typhoon restaurant underneath the AON building. It was not a good lunch as she is so hard to talk to, plus she just had a big fight with one of her old friends, the person is also my friend too. I feel very difficult in between as she wants to mention the other girl’s name all the time. I have been calling her a few times and she did not even call back once, (maybe once) I know that she is not talking to me on purpose, but this is not right to me and also we know lots of people together in the neighborhood, anyways, I decided not to be friends with her again, or maybe she has never treated me as a friend.

My husband is always interested in grandfather clocks, every time when we go to China, he will be look around for some nice and interesting grandfather clocks. Some of those he got very cheap, and lots of them are not really working. Recently a friend told us that you could get grandfather clocks on line, they have lots of pictures with very detailed descriptions. Their collection is big with different brand, there lots of the grandfather clocks are on sale, some of those are priced 50% off or more. You could also call their customer support for questions and they give professional advices.

I have started to think about the education of my two girls, especially after watching the movie “Juno”. To hear the teenagers talking to each other by using the language and to have sex so easy make me feel scared. I want to be friends with my daughters and at the same time I like them to listen to me. Although they are still very young right now, but sometimes I could feel that it is so hard to make Elizabeth listen to me, just for very small things. So if anyone have any good recommendations of how to teach your kids to behave, I would be happy to listen.

I learned autism from a co worker a couple of years ago. She found out her 3 years old was autism at that time, she told me a lot about special school and lots of work to care for her and try to help her get better. The earlier you discovered in the childhood, the better. I have been sponsor her for autism walk in Chicago for a couple of years now. From the walk I found out that there are lots of kids have the disease. And we all need to donate a little of our money to help them to find cure. Firstgiving.com as the best and easiest place to raise money to fight autism online for the important nonprofit causes you care about. Firstgiving has already helped tens of thousands of people raise millions of dollars for thousands of nonprofit organizations. I found that Mike Collins has raised $400 out of $3,500 this year, so let us all help him to reach his goal.

We had a nice plane ride home from Las Vegas yesterday, both kids and myself were so tired, the kids have slept for more than 2 hours, if Lydia did not try to poke Elizabeth on the plane, I am sure she could sleep longer. This is our first time to fly US Airways and compare to United, it is not as bumpy and the landing was very smooth too. We arrived earlier than our schedule so we had to wait on the run way for 30 minutes.
